Residents of rural areas in south-eastern Turkey have been struggling to overcome the consequences of the 7.8 magnitude deadly earthquake which hit Syria and Turkey a week ago.Polat, a village located approximately 100 kilometres from the quake epicentre, has almost been entirely ruined.Unlike bigger towns, government help came to Polat less abundantly and a lot later – many locals were left to fend for themselves.
