The Magnolia Hotshots starting to get hot this conference by securing a win during a Manila Clasico battle.
The Hotshots defeated the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 118-88 in a one-sided game Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Hotshots import Antonio Hester had a goo all-around game finishing with a game-high 28 points apart from grabbing 18 rebounds and dishing out nine assists plus five steals. Mark Barroca came off the bench by contributing 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting.
Ginebra's super import Justine Brownlee had a seemingly off night scoring 22 points though he had seven boards and nine dimes. The Gin Kings suffered their first loss of the tournament after going 3-0.
