After attending a convocation held by Universiti Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told reporters that the MPs should remain patient and continue to serve their constituents despite the government’s decision to cut the development allowances for their constituencies.

He said the government may increase the allocation if its finances improve in future.
