King to appear on stamp without a crown in royal precedent
  • last year
The crownless image of King Charles III that will appear on stamps from 4 April was revealed on Wednesday. Breaking with royal tradition, the monarch is without a crown or a diadem. Royal Mail's Director of External Affairs and Policy, David Gold, said the stamp is "very much the image of the man as well as obviously being the King". Report by Wardl.
