Situation on Turkey is worsening and the rescue efforts have been hampered owing to the freezing temperatures and multitude of aftershocks hitting the affected region. The World Health Organisation said that the death toll from the strong earthquake in Turkey and Syria could rise eight-fold and could reach 20000.
