The family of a mum who died from bowel cancer after being wrongly discharged from hospital and left in agony for months have received an apology from the NHS. She was diagnosed with bowel cancer once it was too late and she died less than a year later in February 2020.

Eight new transport safety officers are patrolling buses in and around Birmingham to tackle anti-social behaviour across the West Midlands, adding to a team of three appointed in 2021. They are targeting routes and locations based on reports received from transport staff and the general public.

Residents in a Black Country town are being terrorised by an aggressive OWL which is swooping from the sky and attacking pensioners, children and pets. The Canadian great-horned owl has been dive-bombing locals in Sedgley, leaving some people too afraid to leave their homes.
