Hu, Wang und Shirley waren einst berühmte Grabräuber die sogenannten Mojin. Eigentlich hatte sich das Trio in New York zur Ruhe gesetzt, bis ein mysteriöser Auftrag sie an den Ort ihres früheren Wirkens lockt. Irgendwo in der Inneren Mongolei, versteckt im antiken Grab einer khitanischen Prinzessin, soll die Equinox Flower liegen ein Stein, dessen magische Kraft angeblich die Toten zum Leben erweckt. Doch die Ruhestätte wird bestens bewacht. Und so bekommen es unsere Helden bald mit Dämonen, Ghulen, Mumien und anderen Scheußlichkeiten zu tun, die sich den Forschern rachsüchtig in den Weg werfen.
