House Republicans Voted to Oust Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar From the House Foreign Affairs Committee

The vote to remove the Somali-born Muslim lawmaker came after her past comments critical of Israel. The Minnesota Democrat has previously apologized for her comments. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy denied that ousting Omar was a tit-for-tat after the Greene and Gosar removals under Democrats.
