We follow 10-year-old Ruben through an entire fencing season. Ruben loves to fence and he is one of the best in his age group. Ruben is preparing for a major international championship, which he is going to for the first time - a championship that means everything to him to win. For the first time, Ruben will face opponents from the great fencing nations France and Italy. Opponents who are both older, bigger and more experienced, so he has to give everything he has in him if he is to have a chance to win.
