Debut album by English folk singer-songwriter and acoustic guitar player Ralph McTell from Farnborough, Kent. Clearly a debut album of an artist in search of his own style, with the sound ranging from raw acoustic blues, to soft rock and melodic Brit folk. Unusually for a new artist, the front of the album sleeve contained no reference to either McTell or the album title.
Ralph McTell - vocals, acoustic guitar. Mac McGann - double-neck guitar. Mick "Henry VIII" Bartlett - jug. "Whispering Mick" Bennett - washboard. Bob Strawbridge - mandolin.
