PM Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat Express, connecting Howrah to New Jalpaiguri as well as inaugurated other metro and railway projects in West Bengal via video conferencing. The PM linked reforms and development of Indian Railways with the development of the country. He said that the central government was making record investments in the modern railway infrastructure.
