Sevak: The Confession is a Vidly original web series based on the life of Deep Singh Sidhu who was a Punjabi film actor and activist. He died in a staged car accident on February 15, 2022 after he became an important part of the farmers' protest against Modi government's farm laws. He was arrested after the Nishan Sahib was hoisted at the Red Fort on 26 January 2021. In Sept 2021, he established ‘Waris Punjab De’ to fight for the rights of Punjab.
In his speeches at Shambhu, he had said, " The aim shouldn't be to gain concessions but to change the entire power equation ".
The story is written by Saji Gul and brought to life by director Anjum Shahzad.
Starring - Mohsin Abbas, Hajra Yamin, Nazarul Hassan, Nayyer Ejaz, Adnan Jaffar and Ammara Malik.
