Stone Pelting, Power & Internet Cut At JNU Over PM Narendra Modi’s BBC Documentary

On January 24, students of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) decided to screen the controversial BBC series on PM Narendra Modi. Power was cut off. The Internet was disconnected. Stones were allegedly thrown at the students by ABVP members. Aishe Ghosh, president of the Left-backed Students' Federation of India told NDTV, “We will watch the documentary with the help of mobile phones using QR codes.” After the stone pelting incident, students protested at the police station.
