On January 22, four people died and nine others were left injured after a crane collapsed during a temple festival in the Arakkonam Taluka in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. The tragedy took place when the Draupathi Amman festivities were being held at the Draupathi Temple in the Kilveedi village of the district. As reported by ANI, the crane suddenly collapsed and three people died on the spot. One person succumbed to his injuries later. Reportedly, nine people were admitted to the hospital and are undergoing treatment. The crane operator has been taken into custody and investigation is underway. Watch the video to know more.1
