Less than a week into the release of the first part of a BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, eminent Signatories slammed the British national broadcaster for showing unrelenting prejudice towards India and its leader and called it a ‘planned agenda’.

According to Former DGMO Lt Gen AK Choudhary, the documentary was a planned agenda that shows that BBC doesn’t like India. "BBC is not working in a neutral way. They're not being able to digest that India is growing rapidly and are trying to mislead people. Muslims in India are the safest,” he said.

Vikram Singh, Former DGP, Uttar Pradesh said, “Instead of defaming PM Modi, BBC should focus on what Winston Churchill did during the Bengal famine. BBC should be ashamed of creating such a documentary and India will not tolerate such agendas.”
