Their houses bulldozed by the Indian Railways, Dalits and Adivasis in Ranchi have nowhere to hide. On December 28, 2022, the railways bulldozed atleast 40 houses, inhabited by almost 200 people at Lohra Kacha in Rachi, Jharkhand. They are currently staying in the open air, surviving the chilling cold wave, opposite what they once called ‘home’.
