Governor Gavin Newsom on Wednesday announced that the White House has added the counties of Monterey, San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara to the presidential major disaster declaration. These new counties added join Merced, Sacramento and Santa Cruz counties initially approved for assistance over the weekend.
