NPR reports that Twitter has announced a time-limited
auction of "surplus corporate office assets" from
the company's San Francisco headquarters.
The 27-hour online sale reportedly gives bidders
the opportunity to take home a piece
of the struggling social media platform.
The de facto fire sale will be
handled by the Global Heritage
Partners auction house. .
Over 630 lots are for sale, including projectors,
white boards, kitchen equipment, a wide variety of chairs
and couches and miscellaneous workplace staples.
Twitter-specific items include a six-foot-tall
"@"-shaped planter sculpture and a blue neon sign of the company's logo with a high bid of $22,500. .
