Now, in a latest escalation in this tussle, Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju has written to Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud “suggesting” to include a government nominee in the decision-making process for shortlisting of judges. This may lead to beginning of a fresh row between the two.
