Holiday table for our beloved and dearest what can be more important. We want to impress our guests and people but there isn’t always time for this. This recipe of Swedish-style potato cooking is very simple and fast still the result will touch even the most delicate gourmet.
Also you can add by choice grated cheese, ham or greens and each time your dish will get a new taste.

✅ Ingredients:
• potato – 2,2 lb / 1 kg
• olive oil – ½ cup / 100 ml
• salt – to taste
• ground black pepper – to taste
• garlic – 1 clove
• parsley – 2 sprigs
• green onion – 2 stalks

✔︎ You will need:
• oven
• baking tray
• 2 wooden chopsticks
• bowl
• carving board

Preparation:
1. Put the potato between two chopsticks and cut into thin slices. Chopsticks help not to cut potatoes fully down, a potato bottom has to be uncut.
2. Lay the potatoes on the baking tray with the sliced sides up, drizzle each with the olive oil and season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
3. Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C and bake the potato for 50 minutes.
4. Mix the olive oil and chopped garlic clove in the bowl.
5. Take the Hasselbeck potato out of the oven, drizzle with the prepared oil, sprinkle with the chopped greens and serve to the table.
