Everton defender Yerry Mina was confronted by a group of furious Toffees supporters in the aftermath of his side's latest defeat in the Premier League.
Everton lost 2-1 to bottom club Southampton at home and strong protests from fans followed, with supporters refusing to leave the ground after the game, with a hostile reception greeting the full-time whistle.
Fans have called for the board to resign on several occasions, and some supporters have decided to speak to the players, with one, in particular, begging Mina to stay at the club if they are relegated this season.

It is unclear if the defender responded immediately, but he shook hands with the fan before being confronted by another, who informed the Colombian of his desire to meet with the board to discuss the situation.

Mina paused, before saying: 'I will give my life for this club' in response.

'It's not your fault', was the response before Mina was escorted away by a police officer to a round of applause.

It comes after Everton's Board of Directors didn't attend Saturday’s game at Goodison Park after being advised against threats to their safety.
The unprecedented situation saw Chairman Bill Kenwright, Denise Barrett-Baxendale, the Chief Executive, Finance Director Grant Ingles and Graeme Sharp, one of the club’s greatest players, miss the encounter as a result.
