Alyosha finds old roller skates, "modernizes" them with creativity, and goes to the city park, where the kids are skating. All along he feels the casual passers-by making fun of him, teasing him, considering his demonstration of creativity a quirk. The film tells the story of how difficult it is to make contact with the world and other people while maintaining one's individuality.
