Joshimath Land Sinking Case: Supreme Court Declines Urgent Hearing On The Land Subsidence Issue; Says ‘Everything Important Can’t Come To SC’

On January 10, Supreme Court of India said everything important in the country can't come to the top court. The apex court declined an urgent hearing of the plea concerning the Joshimath sinking incident. A bench of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and PS Narasimha posted the hearing for January 16. SC said there are democratically elected institutions to look into the issue, reported ANI. Nearly 4,000 people have been shifted to safer places. Watch the video to know more.
