Women, Family and Community Development Ministry hopes to increase PwD registration

Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said her ministry hopes to increase Persons with Disabilities (PwD) registration for better planning of impactful programmes and initiatives.
Nancy said up until December last year, there were 633,653 registered PwDs nationwide.
She also called on all participants at the 27th Annual Charity Walk-Jog-Wheel-A-Thon at the Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur on Sunday (Jan 8) to support her ministry in raising awareness and encouraging all persons with disabilities to register.
