Colonel criticises Harry's 'damaging' Afghanistan comments
  • last year
Prince Harry's revelations about his time serving in Afghanistan have been described as "badly judged" by a retired British Army Officer.

Colonel Richard Kemp said: "To stand up and say, 'I killed 25 Taliban' ... all that does is to make the threat to you even greater."

On Harry's comments about seeing those he killed as "chess pieces", Colonel Kemp said: "I think that's completely wrong; it's not the approach the Army takes, never has been to my knowledge."
