Japan's $9 Trillion Dollar Levitating Bullet Trains
  • last year
Everyone everywhere is designing the technology of the future right now. There are giant super projects coming in left and right, each costing billions if not trillions of dollars to make almost all of our futuristic dreams become a reality before our very eyes. It shouldn’t surprise you to learn that Japan is on the forefront of one of these very projects. They seek to revolutionize the train industry. Well, revolutionize it more than they already have. They are already known for creating super fast bullet trains that are perfect for travel but just as perfect for high stakes hollywood fight scenes such as the one from The Wolverine. So it’s incredibly cool that they are developing a new train that utilizes maglev technology better than any train has before for a smooth ride that speeds at hundreds of miles per hour, making it one of the fastest, cheapest and safest rides across a vast distance anyone in the world could ever buy a ticket for.

Maglev technology utilizes two different high powered magnets, one that repels the train from the ground and one that pulls it forward at a very high speed. Both of these forces allow the train to fly at incredible speeds due to the lack of friction normal trains have when they hit the tracks. So despite the fact that this train will cost TRILLIONS, it is, in fact, a technological marvel to behold. One whose design goes all the way back to the 70s.

So how exactly does this train work and when can I get a ticket? Only one way to find out!
