Section 144 imposed after man stabbed to death by miscreants in Mangaluru

Mangaluru Police Commissioner, N Shashi Kumar on December 25 promulgated prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC. The orders have been promulgated from 6.00 AM on December 25 to 6.00 AM on December 27.

The actions have been taken to prevent any further incident in connection to the murder incident of a man which happened on December 24. The Police Commissioner also ordered a banon sales of liquor till December 27.
