Street cruising has been banned in Birmingham following a high court ruling. The ban prohibits drivers, riders or passengers from participating and anyway breaching the order could be arrested and face up to two years in prison, a fine and have their assets seized.

Aston Villa have had planning permission granted to expand Villa Park, increasing its capacity to over 50,000 - 8,000 more than it currently - and enabling it to host major international tournaments in the future. There will also be a new commercial development called Villa Live.

Shoppers were astonished when they spotted a turkey on sale in Morrisons for £136 - more expensive than a flight to the country Turkey. The main course weighing almost 7kg was spotted in Sheldon. A Morrisons spokesperson said it was the most premium offering, and similar sized turkeys are available for around £30.
