UP head coach Goldwin Monteverde tipped his hat off to his players whom he said really tried their best to catch up to Ateneo in Game Three of the UAAP Season 85 men’s basketball Finals, where they lost the contest, 68-75, and the championship. Monteverde also took the time to discuss this 2022 that saw the Fighting Maroons end their 36-year title drought but fail to pull off the unprecedented two titles in one calendar year.
