Drake has reportedly lost $1 million after he placed a bet on who would win in the 2022 World Cup Final between Argentina and France. Drake allegedly put his money on Argentina winning, however, he placed a “1x2” market bet. This means that Argentina had to win within regulation time for the rapper to win his bet. Unfortunately for the 'Hotline Bling' rapper, the match was forced to go to extra time and penalties so he lost out. Fans have joked that the rapper is cursed when it comes to betting on sports teams as several teams have lost after he publicly supported them. Football club AS Roma has even banned its players from taking photos with Drake because of the alleged curse.
