Days after the clash between India and China along the line of actual control (LAC) in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh, State Chief Minister Pema Khandu on December 14 said that it’s not 1962 anymore and thanked the Indian Army for safeguarding the country.

“Earlier, the situation was different. It’s not 1962 anymore. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership things have improved. On behalf of the people of my state, I thank our army for safeguarding the country.”
