On December 14, Narottam Mishra, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister raised objections on Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Pathaan’. Mishra also raised objections regarding the colour of the costume worn by Deepika Padukone in the song 'Besharam Rang'. Mishra said if certain scenes are not corrected, the MP government will take a decision on whether to screen the film in the state or not. Protests were also reported from Indore in Madhya Pradesh against the film and the song. Activists gathered and set effigies of actors Shah Rukh Khan & Deepika Padukone on fire. Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra, is all set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2023. Watch the video to know more.
