MEDICAL CHECK-UP OF MORE THAN 40,000 PEOPLE CONDUCTED BY SPECIALIST DOCTORS IN SECURITY DIVISION, SINDH POLICE’S JOINT TWO-DAY FREE MEDICAL CAMP FOR FLOOD VICTIMS IN KANDIARO; FREE MEDICINES WERE ALSO DISTRIBUTED AMONGST THE SICKS

A joint two-day medical camp of Security Division, Sindh Police and a welfare organization JDC in taluka hospital Kandiaro, district Naushahro Feroze for the flood victims concluded. More than 40,000 patients were examined by the specialist doctors in the camp and free medicines were distributed amongst the sicks. People from outskirts of Naushahro Feroze and far-flung areas also attended and benefited from the medical camp.

During the two days medical camp, the Special Security Unit (SSU) provided complete logistic support and security for the camp.

Medicines were provided by the welfare organization JDC for the medical camp. Whereas, Doctors of Karachi Medical and Dental College voluntarily rendered their services for the camp. While, Al-Ibrahim Eye Hospital conducted free on-spot eye operations and testing services were offered by the Ali Clinical Laboratory.

On this occasion, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed extended his gratitude to General Secretary JDC Zafar Abbas, Medical Superintendent Dr. Hameed Ansari, volunteer doctors and staff of Ibrahim Eye Hospital.

He added that personnel of Security Division showed extraordinary performance on humanitarian grounds, their services are worth appreciating and unforgettable.
