Pub takes in stranded motorists as snow forces them off road

Stranded motorists who spent a night at a pub in East Sussex after snow forced drivers to abandon their cars on road sides have described the support given to them by the landlord as “amazing”. Heavy snow and plummeting temperatures led to widespread travel disruption on Sunday evening with many people struggling to get home.
