Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu formally took charge as Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister after reaching Himachal Pradesh Secretariat on December 12 in Shimla.
After taking charge, CM Sukhu said, “I thank the public for giving this chance to a person from a common family who never thought that he would reach the reins of this chair.”
“Today I am taking charge as the CM of the state. All MLAs, Deputy CM and senior members of the party will work for the welfare of the state. Cabinet formation will also be done soon as per the guidelines of the Congress high command,” he added.
