Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, speaking at an event of the Banaras Hindu University, stressed India’s intentions to host G20 summits like a national celebration and said that the summits will be conducted in almost 60 cities. India aims to showcase the entirety of the country through the opportunity of the G20 presidency, he said. “The G20 summit will be celebrated in about 60 cities across all states. It is natural for a big program of G20 to be held in Kashi. Everyone knows the importance of Kashi. Planning is going on for its event. This is also one of the reasons for my coming here. I will chair it as External Affairs Minister,” he said.
