Parliament ratifies laws banning sex outside of marriage

Let's bring you some more breaking news this hour Indonesia’s Parliament has ratified a criminal code which includes a ban on sex outside of marriage raising the penalty to up to one year in jail. The laws also outlaw unmarried couples living together and forbids insulting the president or expressing views counter to the national ideology. The last attempt to toughen social restrictions in Indonesia was met by some of the biggest protests in the country's history.
