The home is impacted by mica/defective blocks and was deemed condemned/unsafe to live in 12 years ago. The family are living in the house as they await a new enhanced redress scheme to be delivered. Campaigners are seeking a number of urgent measures to be put in place, including emergency housing funding and the immediate release of the 20k accommodation/storage allowance.
