To promote the horticulture sector and help the farming community of Kashmir, the scientists of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Shalimar have introduced high-tech drones to spray chemicals such as fertilizers and pesticides in the orchards.

With the help of this high technology, growers will complete the spraying process of their orchards within minutes instead of days or weeks.

This developmental step brought revolution in the horticulture sector which was the requirement of time.

According to experts, if farmers adopt the latest technology it will help in increasing economic productivity, reducing environmental pollution and attracting youth to agriculture.
