Newly minted Economic Affairs Minister Rafizi Ramli said his overall focus will be on taking Malaysia towards becoming a high-income nation.
He also said the Economic Planning Unit's (EPU) plan is to push the economy out of the middle-income trap with a "strong focus” on the most vulnerable groups in society, sustainable development goals, technology and the knowledge economy.
