The secret organization PATRIOT was established during the Cold War by a group of superhelds with members from all over the former Soviet Union. Her identity was kept a secret for many years, but she is now forced to reveal it in order to protect her allies. Saric Andreasyan introduces the first Russian heroes to the world with Guardians, the first significant attempt to enter the global superhero phenomenon (итники/Zashchitniki).
