India has invited Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as the chief guest for the Republic Day 2023, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs on Sunday. The Republic Day celebrations will have the first President of Egypt as the chief guest.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Egypt has been invited to participate in the G-20 in 2022-2023 as a guest country.#abdelfattahelsisi#mediatoday #republicday
