On December 1, 89 assembly seats went to polls in Gujarat in the first phase of voting. While the BJP is trying hard to win for the seventh consecutive term, Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP has launched a tough fight. During the first phase, voter turnout of 60.47 per cent was recorded.
