Pro-Kannada organisations staged protest on December 1 on Belagavi's RPD circle in Tilakwadi against the attack on a college student allegedly for dancing with Karnataka's flag. The agitators staged demonstrations and demanded stringent actions against the attackers. Deepak Gudaganatti, district president of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, led the protest.
