2024 Olympics: Mascot maker commits to increasing production in France

French plush toy maker Doudou et Compagnie has been chosen to make some of the mascots for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Alain Joly, the company’s chief executive, aims to make more than 1,000 mascots a day in the factory located in the Bretagne region. The fact that some of the mascots will be made in China has raised criticism in France.
