The Kenya Women Parliamentary Association Has Taken Issue With The Failure Of The Government To Nominate 50 Percent Of Women As Cabinet Secretaries And Permanent Secretaries As Promised. The Association Said It Would Be Taking Up The Issue With The Kenya Kwanza Government Which Signed A Charter With The Women A Couple Of Weeks Before The August General Elections. This Came As The Association Lauded Kenyans For Their Continued Belief In Women's Leadership Which Had Seen The Number Of Elected Women Rise From 12 In 2007 To 29 In August 2022.
