Many of us drive to do our daily errands such as keeping a doctor's appointment or going grocery shopping, but for millions of older Americans who rely on public transit to get around, getting to a doctor's appointment or a grocery store and home again is often extremely challenging. Trains, busses, and even sidewalks can end up being barriers for aging Americans' ability to move easily and safely around their community.
