Gazz Angels stay alive, boot out Crossovers

Defending champ Petro Gazz kept its finals chances alive and booted out Chery Tiggo in the process after a 25-15, 25-17, 25-13 sweep of the latter in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Myla Pablo logged 15 points on 11 attacks and four blocks to lead the way for the Angels, who improved to 1-1 and got themselves a shot at one of the two finals berths when they face Cignal on Tuesday.

Petro Gazz and Creamline are now tied at second place with three points each behind leader Cignal, who has a 2-0 record with six points.
