Coconut chicken strips

½ kg chicken breasts, cut in strips
¼ tsp salt
2 Tbsp flour
2 eggs
1/4 cup coconut milk
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 cup ated coconut
1/2 cup oil
1 cup sweet chili sauce
Method :
Sprinkle salt and flour on the sliced chicken. Whisk together the eggs and coconut milk in a bowl. In a separate plate, stir together the breadcrumbs and coconut. Dip each chicken strip into the egg,, then coat it into the breadcrumb mixture. Heat oil and deep fry the chicken strips, until golden. Drain well and then serve hot with a bowl of sweet chili sauce for dipping.


Walnut Halwa

1 tbsp semolina
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp ghee
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Garnish :
1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Make a syrup by combining ½ cup water and sugar, till it is of one-string consistency. Heat the ghee and add the semolina and sauté. Add the walnuts and cook over a slow flame, stirring continuously, till the mixture turns golden brown. Add the sugar syrup a little at a time, while stirring continuously and cook on a slow flame till the mixture becomes dry. Add the milk, mix well and cook on a slow flame. Add the cardamom powder and mix. Serve hot garnished with walnuts.
