Light psych-pop band named at first The Shadows formed of students at the university in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Nova Local played a mix of psychedelia, garage and some pop sound. The album consists of both their originals material and cover versions. Some orchestral sounds, backward tapes effetcs, sitar. Light psychedelic record in the usual sense of trippy 60s rock. "Nova 1" was their only album.
